Community Review for Cranky Uncle
My Take
This app is an excellent tool for students. They can learn knowledge while having fun. I like that the website is separated into five parts, each showing one denial method. Cranky Uncle will explain each technique after doing quizzes. I am unsure whether the content is enough for students, but the app is excellent overall.
How I Use It
I would use this app in the class about internet safety. This humorous style can attract students. Students will learn what information on the internet is inaccurate and how to identify fake news.

Challenging but fun
The game has a lot of good information, with some challenging questions, while still being a fun game-like activity for students to play. When answering a question wrong, students receive help to make them think more critically and get them to the right answer.

Fun and Helpful
I think this is a great teaching tool where students can learn while also having fun. This website is designed in a humorous way and kids will definitely have fun playing around with this due to the game style layout. I also liked how students can choose what to master first as there are 5 categories that they can choose from to learn and take quizzes on. The concept of the cranky uncle is perfect for kids and I think this would be an interesting way for them to retain information.

Cranky Uncle is an interactive tool that teaches students about misinformation and how to spot fake facts.
I think that the tool teaches good material but can be made more fun through the advent of a classroom multiplayer game that allows one team to make up claims and try to fool the other team with fake facts.
