My Take

My overall opinion is that there are plenty of other places you can make a mind map. Those other options are far more integrated with software and programs we already use in the classroom. My students do not want to sign up for another program and teaching them intensive how to use a program steps does not fit in my curriculum. For example, Google has add-ons that work seamlessly to do much the same thing as Coggle. One good thing: the name is cute!

How I Use It

My recommendation is that if you have the time to create student choice activities, housing them using this type of mapping would work. I have a few choice boards in which I have linked the sites or resources we are using to the path. Students need only follow the path and click on their choices to follow my plan.
