My Take
The site is divided into three sub-sites. The science heroes link offers information from field scientists working with the academy. There is print information as well as short video blogs. The Academy Blogs link offers a multitude of blogs feature scientists and staff describing their field/work experiences as well as current events. Science today offers articles and videos featuring current events in science.
How I Use It
This site is great for connecting content to real-world experiences. Blogs, videos and articles can be given or shown to students to help them make connects to how the concept they are learning about is used in the field.

Excellent videos that show science in action!
Excellent tool that could serve kids by exposing them to science in ways that are not always accessible from their regular setting.
