My Take
This is a great app for centers or early finishers as I find it really keeps kids engaged. I have heard several complaints from teachers about the cost of this app, but with 18 different games, I feel like it was worth the cost. A better progress tracker would really boost this app over the top!
How I Use It
Bugs and Numbers (and the rest of the 'Bugs And..." series) are great tools for primary grades math practice. This app has 18 games inside, making it well worth the price of $2.99. The graphics are realistic and engaging to keep students interested. As a teacher, I appreciate that the games cover a wide variety of skills from number recognition, basic addition, time, fractions. This allows me to differentiate what students play to bed reinforce skills based on need. My only wish was a way to better track individual student's progress over time.
