My Take

I appreciate the concept of this entire project. Though it targets the PreK-K sector, it is the type of project that's great as an introductory activity. The pictures and video links are an added asset. The flow of the lesson is very easy effortless to follow. For the preschooler, it is an exciting way to begin the love of coding and consider computer science. Allowing older grades, 3rd, to dabble with this assignment gives them a simplistic approach to a sometimes challenging concept.

How I Use It

Blue-Bot would be used as an introduction to coding. It is simple and quick to implement. Students enjoy writing out the program see the Blue-Bot to 'flow'. Creating their own city/street for the Blue-Bot is just as exciting and creating its code. What a great springboard activity for writing code.
