My Take
This is a great resource for younger kids to be able to start working on mixing their own music.
How I Use It
This is great for teaching basic composition and layering compositions for younger kids. It takes a little to get the kids to the point they're producing quality work and would definitely require some scaffolding prior to letting students use the app to make sure they're getting the most out of it.

Colorful and minimal- great for young kids
I think this would be a great activity for a music class for students to explore their own abilities and creativity. Exposing kids to the arts early makes for well-rounded adults.
