My Take

As a teaching tool, I would use this resource to post video demonstrations and/or examples along with all major lessons/projects so that all students always have access to my lessons and always have support, even when I am not available. This is great for absent students and virtual learning situations.

How I Use It

I am currently a preschool art teacher, getting my masters in teaching Art PreK-12 and plan to use Artsonia Kids Art Museum as soon as possible to post lessons, provide feedback, assess work, and keep all my students work organized in one virtual space. When students can see all of their hard artistic work in one place, they are able to see their progress, reflect on their artistic choices, and develop their artistic style as their displayed work is like a timeline of their artistic journey and processes. I can't wait to introduce this great resource to their families as well. Being able to connect students' family members to their work is great for boosting student morale and providing opportunities for student-family involvement and support.
