I really like how other factors are considered in the learner profiles, and not just how well students perform on a particular math skill. The pre-assessment and exit tickets are built-in features that are great formative assessment tools, and you can customize the exit ticket to pick questions you like better than others. Tailor-ED is not designed to "teach" a lesson, but it does provide excellent practice opportunities. Tailor-ED provides a lot of great resources, but some that are recommended are not necessarily my favorite, and that's a matter of personal preference. I found I really have to look at a resource first to decide whether or not I like it, determine if the directions are clear enough for my students, etc. But the nice thing is that you are able to swap it out for a different resource, or even better, you can upload your own resources! I am uploading math instruction videos that I've created, and am also uploading links to other district resources to which we subscribe. Overall, I like the flexibility that this platform provides.
