Quick and Easy, simple formative assessment tool.
The immediacy of the tool, and low tech threshold are both a huge plus. It is great for a couple of questions, but really no more than that as you aren't able to ask for more than true/false or multiple choice.

Great response system for the 1 iPad/Android Tablet classroom
Overall I really like this product. It allows me to have the results of individual student response systems without the cost or maintenance. It would be great if the teacher interface for putting in assessment answers was a bit easier, but I understand that this is a free product. At one point, they were offering the sale of the cards in a sturdy cardstock and laminated set. Those seem to be out of stock all of the time. I would like it if they would offer those again as when you print them out yourself, the regular paper leaves them a bit flimsy.

Great Tool For Providing Engaging Knowledge Checks
Overall, I think that Plickers is an amazing tool for formative assessments. Students are provided with a more engaging way to review instructional content, that promotes fun and excitement. Teachers are provided with valuable information to determine student understanding and mastery of key skills. The information I received from Plickers allowed me to pinpoint areas of concern and focus on specific skills that required reteaching, individualized instruction and remediation. I highly recommend Plickers, because it is a wonderful teaching and assessment tool.

Plickers is a great student response system for classrooms without 1:1.
Plickers is a great way to do formative assessment, pre-post assessment, or check to see how your students are feeling about a particular unit. It is easy to use and setup in the classroom. Only the teacher needs a mobile device once cards are printed. Students only have to hold up their signs to have their answers recorded. Very usefull app.

Neat low-tech formative assessment tool
It does take some time to set up, and some time to "Teach" students how to use it, but the payoff in time saved later will be worth it to most teachers. I like that the students don't know how others are answering, and I like the instant feedback. As with most quick-response tools, you are limited to objective questions and answers. Also, at this time, there is limited ability to import class lists or share questions with peers. According to the website, enhancement are in the works. It is definitely a tool worth investigating if you are looking for paperless quick assessments but are limited by the number of personal devices in your classroom. I used it with middle-grade students but in my opinion, it could be used K-12, with younger students just needing a little more practice at holding the card correctly.
