Great interactive app to help students keep up or catch up at home or in school! Not a lot of options on the free mode.
Overall I really liked the interactive aspect of this app and the idea of turning math into games. This keeps kids attention and helps trick them into learning when they may not realize it. The app has options of using it in the classroom or at home and creates the lesson based on the setting. It also allows the parent to sign up with their email so they are able to track their progress which is a great feature. I will say, the free version does not offer a lot of practice and limits the student to one lesson a day which is not the best. I would definitely recommend this app as long as the parents or the school can afford the paid version of the app.

I use this program with my after school group. They are 5th grade. It is a great review program. It allows you to pick different content. I use it as a small group review on the activboards and students take turns answering questions and discussions.
Good program. Easy and entertaining.

Easy to Navigate for Kids!
This app is great. May sometimes be a hard sell to admin as it is not free. I feel it is worth the cost though, especially if students will do it at home.

Splash Math provides engaged practice and review of math skills on their individual levels
I use the individual student reports to guide what I need to review and reteach my students. These reports can also guide my lesson planning to show when students are ready to advance to more complex math skills. Personally, I like the option to advance each student within the program as s/he is masters specific areas of mathematics. I like that it uses proper academic vocabulary and guides the students when they get stuck. Most of all the kids enjoy exploring and playing with the animals of the jungle. This allows them a break once in a while.
I feel that fun time should have a limit however and this would defiantly improve the program. Kids need structure and direction and if they are not redirected they will ...
I own a few of the grade levels and would HIGHLY recommend them!!

Great for Use in Multiple Ways
As with any product of this nature, while more engaging than simple flash card review, I would limit the time spent on this to no more than 30 minutes.
For older students (i.e., middle school student who need an extra boost), I would use this as an individual station, NOT as a whole or small group, simply due to the more elementary format.
I have had my own children use this at home, and they are far more engaged for a longer period of time than with simple flash card sets.
