Other than using the app as a fact of the day for a given day, it has limited use in the classroom. The birth and death dates are for popular culture figures more so than business and political/historical figures. Lacking pictures, this would be welcomed and help the students retain interest. Due to the frequent crashing of the app upon going to a Wikipedia link, it appears software updates are in order. This would be frustrating for students trying to use the app as a primer for further research from its links.
