Student engagement at the tip of your fingers
I really enjoy how user friendly this teaching tool can be. It is simplistic and easy to understand. This would be a great tool for any teacher as well as any students who know how to navigate using a computer program.
I think it is a great review tool for students. I believe it engages students thoroughly. Students can play as themselves or work together with their peers as a team competition.
I would recommend small groups of 2 or 3 to eliminate the anxiousness students may feel in a bigger group. You want to make sure each student has the ability to speak their mind when collaborating with their peers to answer these questions.
You can set the time limit to respond for each question. It could change on the type of class you have allowing for more processing time for those students who need additional support if needed.
You can add pictures to all of the questions. They have an image library, you can upload your own and you can also add a YouTube Link if you would like. They also provide a Question Bank search tool to search form millions of community created questions as well as the ones you create yourself. You can also import questions from an Excel/Numbers/Sheets Spreadsheet option. There are pre-made templates for available as well.
You can make it competitive or just for fun based your students abilities, skills and competitive levels.
I think this is a very user-friendly, engaging educational learning tool for all students!

Great for Assessments
Kahoot! It is a great learning app because allow us to create a multiple-choice quiz in order to see students understanding in a lesson. One of the benefits of using Kahoot! is that is flexible because they can also use it at home and can be use with any subject. It could replace worksheets and is very effective because it demonstrates which concepts students understand and which not. The bad thing about this tool is that many students are going to shout out the answers. It could also be use in the beginning of the class to see what they remember from the lesson on the day before. Also, teachers can use them before a lesson as a pre-assessment to see how much they know about the new content. Overall, students are going to be engage and would be participating for winning the first place.

Kahoot for the win
Overall I am a big fan of Kahoot. It is easy to set up, and use in the classroom. It engages students and is a fantastic way to help students actively participate in a class. It is a student favorite and as a teacher it is a favorite of mine as well! My only way that it ca be improved is to increase the types of questions that are possible to use. Right now only multiple choice is supported and students could benefit from short answer, matching, etc.

Excellent Fun Formative Assessment tool!
The Technological Pedagogical Knowledge component of Kahoot! allows my students to incorporate technology in a fun way to better their understanding of classroom content, while providing a fun and easy way to approach formative assessments. The competitive nature of the game might take away from the actual learning component of the platform, for my students might become more invested in winning rather than understanding the overall outcome of Kahoot! Because there is a time component to answering the questions, Kahoot! might be more difficult for students who need more time in answering questions and might not be beneficial for students who require more time at answering something or who do not do well under pressure. This augmentative approach to forming assessments in the classroom allows teachers to incorporate a fun learning experience for their students while creating a formative assessment that caters to the teacher and makes it easy for teachers to receive instant feedback in regard to student performance.

LOVE Kahoot!
Kahoot is a fun and engaging way to learn. Often, if playing for points, some students get a little too competitive. Classroom management for winning/losing must be planned.

Great formative assessment and review tool!
My students have a difficult time understanding that it is not about being the first person to answer the question. It is about answering the question correctly as quickly as possible. I usually review the concept after the question has been answered.
