Spicynodes - When You're Hungry for Information Mapping
This is a very fascinating website. Once students get the hang of the technical side of using the website they will find it interesting to use. The learning curve is a little steep on this one, it may take students a little longer to get used to using the website, but once they get the hang of it, it should be smooth sailing. In general, it can be difficult for students to break down larger topics into basic components. The fact that they input resembles an outline should help in this regard. This tool will give students, especially those who are visual learners, the ability to take apart main ideas and see how the parts relate to the whole and each other. I would not hesitate to use this with any level classes in my library, and plan on creating presentations for students to see how ideas and concepts relate visually.

Outstanding Graphic Organizer Resource for Students and Leaders
Spicy Nodes takes learning to a new level and can help students move up the ladder of Blooms Taxonomy through the use of the application. Students can use the tool to collect and organize information, apply what they have learned to a topic or essential question, use the tool to present information to an authentic audience, or even use it for reflection. The tool is flexible and easy to set up and can be accessed and shared by multiple people. Student teams can use it for presentations on their current learning and can share it with a larger community audience to show what they have learned through their studies on a project.
