Fantastic Math Facts Drill!
I am a big fan of the old fashioned drill techniques. This app offers the opportunity to practice quick facts in addition, subtraction, multiplication and division. I really liked the option to "randomize" the operation and the preferences page allows you to set many things such as number range and challenge time. The app offers instant feedback, positive reinforcement and an opportunity to choose the correct answer after you have made a mistake. I had to choose a lower rating for support as it does lend itself to scaffolding - it's basically drill. It does however offer praise verbally - and there is nothing for the student to read. It's a big thumbs up from this classroom!

Drill and practice with positive reinforcement!
Overall I really like this app. It is fast and easy (no real setup required). It is easy to teach students how to navigate the app and choose the options that I am asking them to use. This is a great alternative to a "mad minute". I like that it reports the students score at the end of the minute and that could be recorded and used as data point to push students to do more! I don't like that there is not the option to show the equation vertically. I have found that when students are adding 2 or 3 digit numbers that it would be helpful to have them vertically. I really like this app as a great way to allow students to practice arithmetic. Overall it is a great app that I would recommend to all elementary school teachers!

Quick paced math facts practice program that is fun, interactive and supportive of students progress.
If you are looking for a simple skill and drill practice app that has limited bells and whistles, then this is the app for you. I liked the fact that you could turn the sound off and not hear "you got it" messages as some students do not like the messages and prefer to focus on the content. I also liked the challenge options and different ways to select answers. From a teacher perspective it was very easy to use and you could change the settings in under a minute. This app serves students that need skill and drill on their basic math facts and does not focus on problem solving or multiple step problems. This could serve students that need repetition in a fun and engaging app that provides practice and helps students to gain fact fluency. I particularly liked the practice sessions that included problems from all math operations, forcing students to focus and constantly, shifting from one operation to another. The challenge quizzes were highly engaging and made students want to complete more problems within the time frame while also being accurate. Overall, a simple app that provides much needed practice in developing math fact fluency in students.

User friendly math fact skill builder.
I like the ease of the app, but I wish it was a bit more engaging for kids. It may be more engaging for younger students who are just starting to learn and master these basic math concepts. It can easily be used by individual students to practice and memorize their basic math facts. It could also be used in a large classroom or small group setting.
