Great way to introduce gaming into often complex topics
I used this with 6th grade all the way up through 12 grade. Especially the "I Have a Right" game. Students practiced on their own, often, outside of class. It helped them remember their amendments.

Great way to "play" civics!
This is a great way for students to use a "game like" activity to further apply what students have learned. There are great lesson plan resources to go with each of the areas. It seems to be sluggish when lots of students are on the games at the same time or it might be that it takes a large amount of bandwidth.

Finally! A fun way to teach government!
Definitely high school content with an "elementary" feel. The students must really read the instructions in order to play each game.
I loved that the students didn't have to register if they didn't want to. That was definitely a time saver.

This site has a ton of things to offer both teachers and students!
The website is very user friendly, with interactive games for kids but also lessons designed already for teachers. The games offer great extension activities to those who need extra practice. In addition, the site can be utilized for many age levels.
