Math Fact Master is an excellent skill and drill app. The students utilize this program to improve their basic math skills of addition, subtraction, multiplication and division. For students that struggle with basic math facts this program is a must.
I really like the app. Some do not like skill and drill, but I believe in it. The students progress by taking 2 minute timed tests. I now teach high school, and it is amazing to me how many students that do not know basic math facts.

Straight forward Flash Cards
I like this product as a parent more so than as a teacher. As a teach, it is definitely limited in it's use, but as a parent, I like the ability to reduce or expand my child's individual practice for short amounts of time. I would only recommend using this for no more than 10 - 15 minutes at a time.

Customizable math drill and practice with emailable progress reports
Math Fact Master is a very good app for Math drill and practice. Teachers MUST delivery instruction to students FIRST and thereafter introduce the app for practice. Thought it was excellent as all 4 operations can be selectively assigned per each student's ability. Flashcard mode and Challenge mode are available so exceptional learning needs students through gifted and talented students can participate and be fully engaged. Extremely user-friendly with very low learning curve for teacher setup. Each child's profile (name) can be entered and it appears the number of student profiles is unlimited. Progress reports track missed problems which can be pre-set to repeat so students can move closer to master. Challenge mode has a timer which will be very appealing to competitive students. Worth much more than the 99 cents developers are charging. Aesthetics of Math Fact Master is quite appealing. The designers used blue, green, and gray to offer users a calm and appealing learning environment. Students will want to practice their math with this tool. PARTICULARLY liked the fact that Progress Reports for each child can be emailed to the teacher (or a parent/guardian) to track student progress. Tested sending emails to my account. Each was received with no problem - easily printable.

Flashcards with little flash
This app is really nothing more than flashcard practice on the iPad. If using the device would make a student practice their facts, then it serves its purpose. However there isn't much incentive to use it within the app itself. The Challenge setting is slightly more interactive in that the answer needs to be input into the equation. Even with that the app fails to motivate a learner. Progress reports can be emailed to a parent or the student themselves, but that really isn't much of a bonus feature. The fact that the app is 99 cents (rather than free) is surprising considering the lackluster features of this app.
