We’ve all heard and seen the impact that artificial intelligence is having on our world. Even our youngest students are encountering AI in their daily lives, but can they really start to understand how it works? Yes, they can!

During this edWebinar, we will take a peek under the AI hood and introduce you to short activities and lessons that you can use to demystify how AI works, including: what AI is and how it is already impacting our lives, how AI is trained and where bias may occur, how large language models like ChatGPT work, and more.

You will leave with ready-to-teach activities and lessons about how artificial intelligence works for K-8 students, along with knowledge of how you can implement them in computer science lessons, as extensions to digital citizenship lessons, and in a variety of curricular areas.
