What makes up our digital footprints?
Every time we go online, we leave traces of our activity behind. But how much of our digital footprint do we create on purpose, and how much happens automatically? Help students discover the two sides of their digital footprint while learning to make thoughtful choices about their online presence.

Active Digital Footprint – information you choose to share online, like when you post, comment, or fill out forms
Digital Footprint – all of the information online about a person, either posted by that person or others, intentionally or unintentionally
Passive Digital Footprint – information that gets collected automatically when you use apps, websites, and devices
