LESSON

Spotting Thinking Traps

What are thinking traps and how can they impact our feelings?

Help students recognize common "thinking traps": negative thoughts that trick us into believing things that might not be true. Through relatable scenarios about tech troubles and online experiences, students learn to identify when their brain is making situations feel bigger than they really are. By developing awareness of these thinking patterns, students prepare for the Brain Battle Game, where they'll learn specific strategies to fight back against these traps and protect their emotional well-being.
