How do the social norms we build around tech affect our relationships and well-being?
Students dive into the invisible world of social norms for technology: the unwritten rules governing everything from texting etiquette to social media sharing. We start with bringing awareness to social norms around tech, then explore what is helpful and/or harmful in different contexts. Students also consider steps for changing tech norms that don't support their digital well-being. Through interactive discussions and personal reflection, students discover they have the power to help shape healthier tech norms in their lives.
