LESSON
Resolving Conflicts Online
How can we resolve conflicts when they happen online?
As students start to interact more often through online games and activities, new kinds of conflicts can emerge that feel different from face-to-face disagreements. This lesson introduces the CALM method as a simple strategy for navigating these misunderstandings with friends and classmates. Through relatable cartoon scenarios, students practice communicating kindly, asking for help when needed, finding fair compromises, and respecting boundaries. By learning to stay CALM during online conflicts, students develop skills that will help them maintain strong friendships as their digital interactions grow.
