LESSON

Red Flags & Chatting Online

How do you chat safely with people online?

Social media, gaming, and virtual communities create spaces where students can connect and interact with people outside their everyday social circles. But how well do students really know who they're chatting with and understand the risks of sharing information? This lesson helps young people think critically about their online conversations, encourages them to be aware of potential risks, and guides them to make informed choices about communicating in online spaces.
