Icky Feelings

What do you do if you get an icky feeling when using your device?

Sometimes, when using devices, students might see or hear something that makes them feel uncomfortable or scared. Help students recognize these "icky feelings" as important signals that something might not be right and they need adult help. Students identify their trusted adults and practice exactly what to say when they need help, building confidence to speak up when something doesn't feel right.

  • Identify "icky feelings" they might have when using devices
  • Recognize situations that might cause uncomfortable feelings online
  • Identify their specific trusted adults, and practice how to tell them about icky feelings
