LESSON

Building Healthy Tech Habits: Part 1

How does my tech use affect my well-being?

What if we slowed down to consider our tech habits, including the ones that serve us well and those we might want to change? In the first part of this two-part lesson, students reflect on their tech habits—the good and the not so good. This lesson prepares students for Part 2, when they will learn how to make healthy habits stick and develop personalized plans to support their digital well-being.

Objectives

  • Define habit and identify their own tech habits
  • Recognize how tech habits can affect mental, physical, and social well-being
