Information & Media Literacy

With a constant stream of information coming at us, it's more important than ever to think critically about what we see in the media and online. Help kids develop a healthy dose of digital skepticism by learning to pause and ask questions. Turn it into a game by asking: Who created this message? What do you think they want you to believe or buy? Compare headlines about the same story and question how they are trying to get your attention. Asking these questions can help kids become better truth-seekers and prepare them to be active citizens.
