Phenomally engaging. My students were enthusiastic and collaborative in their approach to this fantastic app.

How I Use It

We used this product in a variety of ways. First, we played it as beta testers, looking for ways to improve the product, interface, design, etc. We played the game with language specific goals as well, and this turned out to be surprisingly collaborative. Students would help each other with word arrays, especially when competing against an adult like the teacher. We used the product as a springboard for demonstration "how-to" student-created videos. Students really worked to find new words, and I would listen to conversations about interesting words they had found, not just for the game play, but they appeared in their writing as well. The hardest thing to do was pry them away from the game to work on a different aspect of multimedia and design.
