Google Art Project brings the world of art to your classroom door and also helps to get your students out of your school into museums.

How I Use It

When I teach an art lesson, I will often have students then go to Google Art Project to find the class topics in "real art" and create galleries of chosen pieces to share and discuss. Sometimes we search for art that is within reach and after students find work that is of interest and they might want to actually go and see those pieces in person.
