How I Use ItI will use the UDL Strategy Wizard to set up lesson plans for my lowest level math class. These students are 2 or more grade levels below where they should be in math.
The 2013-2014 school year was my first year teaching the lowest level math and struggled to find ways to reach the students without boring them with teaching and reteaching the same information.
I will use the Personalized Goal Wizard to set up individual strategies for my students that are struggling learners or have learning difficulties due to behavior issues.
Since I had so many low lever learners, there were also a multitude of reasons why they were not able to learner up to the expected course work for their age and grade.
Goalbook provides endless suggested teaching strategies to help the teacher help the students.
Goalbook is just the answer I need to help me plan, keep the students on track and assess their progress.
My TakeGoalbook is an essential tool for teachers. It will help plan lessons so that you will be able to teach to all levels of learners in your classroom. I also like that is has an entire area for behavior issues. I teach 7th grade and there are time when I need new suggestions on how to handle a student's in ability or unwillingness to learn because of behavior problems at school or at home.
Goalbook is not free. But you definitely get your money's worth from this program. I am sure the price per year is a reasonable price for all the information tools that is provided by this application. Unfortunately, the price is cost prohibitive for a teacher like myself that does not work for a large school district and would have to buy the program on my own.
