How I Use It
I would use it as an option for students to use as a final product. For example, I teach a class on bullying. The students in the past could create a poster summarizing their knowledge of the topic. With Glogster, they could go above and beyond by not only including text and images, but also incorporating videos and other media to display their knowledge of the topic. To use in my class, I set up an education account and was given 10 accounts for free. This wasn't ideal though as students had to share accounts.
I loved the fact that students could be creative and use different forms of media. I also loved the embed option. Some of my students are not as artistic by drawing or designing posters, but by being able to create it on the computer, and with the different media, it targeted many more students. Along with having fun with Glogster, they were able to display their knowledge in a much more creative way. Glogster was not the best for my classroom though, because there were too many technical difficulties with it (glogs wouldn't load, error messages would continuously be given).
