How I Use It
Trace Effects is a good tool for practicing vocabulary and limited interaction, and should be used as such. For example students can be directed to complete numerous chapters as homework and ask to write a brief report about what they have done in the program. It would be helpful in going over what was explored in class rather than spending in-class time for extra practice.
My Take
I liked the introduction and how it set up a story rather than jumping straight into the game. Students can be internally motivated this way to explore the software and not just see it as an assignment. Finding words and more dialogue options is also an interesting idea as it helps develop students' vocabulary gradually.
