How I Use It
I used this in my engineering class when teaching my students about different bridge types. They had to build different bridges with different materials and justify why they used those materials and why they used a certain bridge structure.
My Take
Minecraft VR is a virtual reality version of classic minecraft. Minecraft is an open-spaced world, where users can collaborate and create basically anything they want. Educators are already harnessing the popularity of this game, with its ability to incorporate STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Art and Math) concepts in a creative and collaborative environment. Minecraft VR is taking this experience to the next level by putting the user into the minecraft world. Minecraft VR is a great example of how games and VR can provide an immersive world that allows for creativity, collaboration, exploration and experimenting to thrive.
