How I Use It
I have used it with Spanish classes to provide additional practice with interactive videos in a flipped classroom setting and also most recently as part of an asynchronous lesson. I like that it is an App with Edmodo which we use, so it is easy for students to connect their accounts. The video was engaging, I was able to provide a nice variety of questions and activities for them to use. The timing of the questions is something I have to work on, depending on the video it can be tricky to place it in the right slot, but it is a great tool for students.
My Take
I think it is very beneficial for providing enrichment, remediation, additional practice, flipped lessons or for any reason to engage students in a variety of ways with the integration of technology. I like the choices available for question and activities, ability to crop video, the settings, the data analysis tools and also the ability for users to give feedback ratings as well. It is a nice alternative to traditional classrooms and having students watch videos and answer questions, it keeps them engaged.
