How I Use It
I have students read a picture book then create a Wordle of the story's main ideas, characters, setting, etc. They may not use the title or author's name. They select colors, font and layout to capture the book's theme. We display the completed Wordles with the books and ask, "Guess the Picture Book" as a library display.
The creative teacher can use Wordle with students to demonstrate their learning. It is a great visual tool for hierarchy.
