How I Use It
This website is great for having groups of students manage class projects! Since most of our campuses are not a part of any of the collaborative applications like Google Apps or Office 365, this website allows our students to take ownership of managing their group projects and tasks. Once student accounts have been setup, they often use the workspace for communicating deadlines, polling for opinions or assigning tasks, and asking questions after school hours. While it does not strengthen learning of the course content, it is a great way to promote 21st century skills of communication and collaboration.
I like how this tool helps students manage their learning. As a result, it is best for high school students are greater. I think it's important as a teacher to be a part of all the student groups so that you can monitor the activity, answer any questions, or clarify any misconceptions. It's the perfect tool for the project-based learning teacher or for school clubs and activities. The polls, voice and video messages, and calendar make it very easy to keep everyone in the communication loop!
