How I Use It
I use Weebly to house my extra resources for students, my blog, and assignment calendars. Students can access the site from home and watch tutorials I've created for everything from creating thesis statements to assignment-specific tips. The ability to create cascading pages is very helpful, and I've found that the initial setup can take as little as 10 minutes for a simple website. Of course, the more advanced a teacher wants to get, the more time she can end up spending.
Weebly is insanely easy to use, and the free version for educators offers enough tools for any teacher to make a worthwhile website. If you want to engage students outside the classroom (by posting videos to supplement in-class activities, host resources, or even collect work from students) this is the tool for you.
