How I Use It

I have used it to host my classroom website, as well as the site for each of the extracurricular clubs I sponsor. One in particular, the school newspaper, is very easy to host and keep updated with Weebly. I upgraded my sites to the Pro status and have used the additional video hosting features as well. I intend on using Weebly to have students demonstrate their learning by using the site as an online and interactive alternative to a poster project.

My Take

Weebly is a simple-to-use drag and drop website creation tool that allows the user to spend more time focused on the content of the site, rather than having to know and apply coding to create their site. I like how quickly I can have students set up a site and keep them focused on the curricular content, rather than spending too much time worrying about website coding and clumsy formatting. It really is as simple as dragging and dropping the components onto the page.
