How I Use It
I have used Voice Thread as a means of presentation along with research projects. I did a large, student-driven project with 5th grade centered around Mexico and I taught them how to utilize Voice Thread. It was a great way for them to be creative, and they loved being able to work together and to common on each other's work. It is important, though, to set guidelines on the comments!!
My Take
I love Voice Thread for the way in which it encourages students to collaborate, and in which it allows for a great deal of creativity. There are so many things that can be done with Voice Thread, and that really engages students! Voice Thread on its own develops strong 21st century skills: technology, collaboration and communication, creativity and thinking. It must be utilized in conjunction with curriculum and other projects, though!
