How I Use It
I have used this website (and app) in my classroom for the last 5 years. The first year, it took the most time to add all of the lists from my spelling book, but after that, it takes no upkeep from the teacher. I have this website linked on my website and the students and parents can use it anytime they wish. I encourage them to print the lists, practice their words, and use the games to prepare for weekly spelling tests. Using this, there has been NO excuses as to them not having the words or the list. They can also practice their words anytime they want.
My Take
My overall opinion is good. I only use the free version, and I think that's just fine for the classroom. I am sure the paid version offers more, but the free one is just fine for practice for the kids for their weekly spelling tests. I have heard from many parents that they like being able to get the lists whenever they want, and also allowing their kids to have more independence when practicing for their weekly spelling test. It takes away from the time I would be spending making copies of lists, answering parent emails about lists, etc. I find this website to be extremely helpful!
