How I Use It
I had students create a timeline of what our History class covered for the semester. As a special education teacher I hid most of the columns and only required students to fill in the dates and titles of the events. Then I revealed the column where they could add pictures, then groups, then backgrounds. This caused them to review the events multiple times before the midterm to make sure they understood the material.
I liked it because students could not get caught up in the details that are not the focus of the lesson. There were no students changing fonts or colors until all the information was in. The limits of the program as a spreedsheet were seen as a strength in my eyes.
