How I Use It
As a math station and included in 3rd - 5th grade homework menus...allows teachers to set each student's pathway to have them practice specifically what they need. Like that it does NOT follow the district timeline because student's are able to preview different material at different times in the year.
My Take
I love the avatar component that motivates the kids to want to earn as many points as possible; love the rigor of the questions and models; love the coach that each student has to help with a problem. It doesn't go very very low so your special ed population, depending on how low they are, might struggle a bit. Also, the BIGGEST negative is the limited reporting that it has. Although some reporting is great, it doesn't allow you to set parameters for what you want to report.
