How I Use It
Thinglink can be used to create virtual tours, scavenger hunts, and demonstrate knowledge. A great app for second language learners. Students upload an image from the target language country/culture. They then locate websites with cultural information and use these links to provide information about specific locations on the image. As the app supports text, links, and videos, students can also create "hot spots" with videos about the target language culture and include their thoughts about places they might like to visit. The possibilities are endless.
My Take
This product works well as both a teaching and learning tool. Teachers can create a thinglink related to the topic and use as an introduction to a lesson to contextualize and familiarize learners with the content.
