How I Use It

I think this product is great for meeting students at their learning level and pushing them forward. I like that it is directly correlated to the CCSS and based on the initial assessment as well as student work within the lessons you can see what standards students are struggling with. I also like that you can assign specific standards for students to work on. This is a valuable way to have students get extra practice at home on the concepts that you are working on in class.

My Take

Overall I think that this is a great teaching tool. I will be using it in my classroom this year to help those students that are struggling with specific standards. I like that after the initial assessment you can see which standards students understand and those they still need to work on. I am slightly concerned that there is only 1 problem to show mastery of each standard. I think students could take a lucky guess and not really know a concept. I would not use this as my only form of assessment but I think that it is a strong online took for students to get extra practice with CCSS in the area of math.
