Easy to navigate platform let creative teens share their talents
How I Use It
Creative students need a platform to share their talents and this website delivers. It is run through a non-profit and remains focused on teen creative input. I liked that teens who have little outlet for their creativity can easily access and upload their work on the site. It’s simple to navigate and visually appealing. The collaboration and interaction areas of the site give an opportunity for feedback which is useful and desirable to teenagers. I would recommend this site to high school students and teachers to allow their work to reach an authentic audience.
TeenInk.com is a website for the creative teenager. It focuses on many areas of the creative arts (fiction/non-fiction writing, poetry, video and fine art. Teens can share their work by uploading images and documents to the site. There are interactive areas such as chat and forums to collaborate and communicate. The sign up is quick and is free. Another great feature is the college guide area of the site. Teens interested in pursuing their interests past high school are given a wealth of information on colleges and programs in various majors. Additionally there are monthly contests in various areas, such as Fiction, Community Service and Interviews, as well as a hard-copy magazine that can be subscribed to as well.
