Teacher Review for Learning for Justice

I teach 9th graders, who aren't always the most sensitive. Teaching tolerance offers lesson plans that I can use to address this issue while incorporating my history curriculum.

How I Use It
I have used several lessons from this site. I use them when I fell like my students need a refresher on being tolerant of differences. They are easy to incorporate into a social studies curriculum.
My Take
This is a great tool for adding relevance to my history curriculum. It also helps us deal with sensitive issues that some students face. However, there are more lessons for U.S. history and contemporary history than other subjects.
