How I Use It

After students completed a research paper assignment, they copied and pasted the text into this web tool to create a cloud. This could work for various assignments as another tool for students to visually look at a summary of their work. If you are looking to find a way for students to use a free and fun word cloud page (that requires no signups), I highly recommend Tagxedo.

My Take

I found Tagxedo to be a very useful tool for creating word clouds. Students had fun using it since it is easy to use and provides a lot of different options for their word clouds. Students can change the color, size, text font, image/shape of the cloud, etc. When completed, they can save the image to a computer or flash drive.
