How I Use It
I've used Tagxedo for illustrating lists of book character traits, science terms, personal hobbies, fairy tale characters, and so on. I really like that students may choose a shape for their word cloud from some on the Tagxedo web site or I can add some images tailored to whatever topic we're covering.
My Take
My favorite feature of Tagxedo is that I may add my own images for students' word clouds. It's important to select a silhouette of the image you'd like to upload or the results will not be as favorable. I save suggested images in a separate folder that is accessible to students when they are creating their word clouds.
