How I Use It

I love the seasonal activities. My students have a great time making their own jack-o-lanterns for Halloween. However, my lower level learners loss interest quickly. I wish there were additional prompts to encourage the kids to keep trying and to try different activities. But overall, a great resource. Good for an independent center to review skills.

My Take

The website provides a lot of options of different means of promoting literacy for a range of early learners. There are activities on letter recognition, phonemic awareness, and beginning reading. I love the seasonal activities. My students have a great time making their own jack-o-lanterns for Halloween. However, my lower level learners loss interest quickly. For a free website it exceeds expectations.
