How I Use It
I have used this both as a music creation tool AND to enhance literacy activities. My students have recorded stories and added sound effects, used Soundtrap for interviewing community members and peers, collaborated on audio activities, and more. My ELLs and other language students (French, Spanish, etc) use it for language practice, and the autism class recorded Reader's Theatre activities with Soundtrap! I have used it to deliver verbal instructions to my students when I am away, and we have also used it for podcasting and PSA creations in the school. It is incredibly diverse!
There are a million possibilities with this tool! In particular, my students and I love the collaborative features like the chat and video windows. The fact that it works on any device is also a bonus, and that it easily downloads creations as mp3s or files that can be shared easily to LMS classrooms or social media is also a great feature. We love Soundtrap!
