Nice integration tool for sharing audio files like student created podcasts, or reviews.

How I Use It
Students create book review podcasts (first working with librarian to learn how to write a proper book review), they then spend a few days recording engaging and interesting book reviews, adding intro sound and ambient sound using Audacity, Garageband or other audio apps, but do not give away the ending or climax of the book. Once the podcast is created it is then uploaded to Soundcloud to a group account so students can listen to review other student created podcasts and rate them. Finally, the Librarian then adds selected podcasts to the library website for the general population to listen to when considering reading the book.
My Take
Soundcloud is easy to use, simple to set up, and worked well as a tool for sharing podcasts (other student created audio files). I liked the social networking capabilities of Soundcloud, and the ability for students to listen to each others podcasts and provide ratings. I think this is a good tool for audio sharing.
