How I Use It
I use Socrative at least 2 times a week as an entrance or exit ticket. I can see in real time who has a concept and who does not. Then I break up into groups based on the responses and have time to work with those students who still need more time on the topic.
This is an easy way to get real time formative assessment and to ensure that every child is participating. I love that I create the questions so it is based on my curriculum. I would love it if the students could show their work on a sketch or draw screen. .
